Waking Up 30 and Surprisingly Refreshed
Maybe it’s the mountain air. And the Advil I took before bed. Unlike my best friend, I woke up chipper and ready to go, on this, the morning of my birthday. She says it’s that she’s sick and not all the wine we (she) drank last night. Which I’d like to show you, readers and drinkers, pictures of, but they’re on her camera and she’s back in bed.
We have plans to go to a real, live Montana winery later today. I can only hope that happens…

I wonder what was going on thirty years ago today…. oh, right, I WAS THERE!! You turning 30 has made ME feel older. I’m too young to have a daughter that OLD.
Happy Birthday, “tarley”. (Yes, farley used to say “t” for “f”. Her great uncle would ask her “Who were Mickey Mouse’s nephews?” To which she would reply, “Marty and Terdie”.)
I’ll just sit here and remember all the good, even those whopping not so good times. Everything that has happened to lead you to the extraordinary person you have become. Salute, Farley Walker. I am so very, very proud of you. You amaze me more and more with each passing birthday.
I love you. I miss you. Have a great time.

natal tidings! 30 is actually one of the best birthdays, I think. The good news is that 40 didn’t suck either…

Thanks for all the well wishes. Now I have to catch up with my reporting of the wine(s!) which were tasted.
