She’s Back, But Not All There

by Farley

Currently recovering from sunburn, mosquito bites, bruises from falling on rocks, and getting ready to go back to work, with the always fun inventory to look forward to….

But I thought I’d drop this note to let you know I’m ok. At least in the sense that I made it back from the wilderness in mostly one piece.

In the meantime, check out my JFP column about one of my favorite grapes: Riesling

In regard to your article on Riesling, we also recently had a nice one from New Zealand from Villa Maria. Most people know the Sauvignon Blanc they make, but the Riesling was a fun wine. It was more enjoyable with food than on its own.

  2. Deb Says:

Nice article on Riesling. I totally enjoy the ones from Alsace and have recently been seeking out the Dry Rieslings, as they seem to be not as fruity. Any recommendations? I have had Ste. Michelle and Covey Run, but I would like to find one from Alsace.
