A Sommelier Moves Onward

If you’ve been following my wine adventures at Rosenblum Cellars, if you’re a customer who stumbled upon me through the website or some search term, or you work at the winery, you surely know my friend Meg. She’s a bright spot in the tasting room, full of information and enthusiasm. She’s helped me every Friday morning with the weekly menu (we always spit, of course), brought us Sierra Nevada and pistachios in the afternoons, and bottles of bubbly after work. We’ve shared pasta, frustrations, scones, exhaustion, interesting wines, and happy times.

The great thing about working with Kenny G, other than the guaranteed daily laughter, is his generosity. His working at Domaine Carneros means special treats for the tasting room staff. Every Friday he brings us a bottle of bubbly and sometimes Pinot Noir. This week, however, was extra special. He’s always talking about
No, that’s not Bosley and Charlie’s Angels, but this particular crew is a great one! Pam Maners (she always gets greeted by her first and last name!), me, Kenny, and Gail. Throw us all together and hilarity ensues. Aura was supposed to be in the picture, too, but our friend Mike was having issues with the camera and she ducked away. If you want to see what all the fun is about, come join us on Friday or any other day of the week, and we’ll show you some urban winery hospitality as well.
